About the Study

This report presents the findings of a comprehensive public opinion survey examining Israeli perceptions of Turkey and its regional policies. The research was designed to gauge Israeli citizens’ attitudes toward Turkish influence in the Middle East and assess potential national security implications. The survey was conducted by the Geocartography Sociological Research Center using a questionnaire developed by the Dor Moria Analytical Center.

Sample Size: 1,001 respondents

  • Jewish sector: 841 respondents (84%)
  • Arab sector: 159 respondents (16%)

Religious Segmentation (Jewish sector):

  • Secular: 399 respondents
  • Traditional: 280 respondents

Key Findings

The study revealed moderate levels of concern among Israelis regarding Turkish regional activities, coupled with relatively low interest in Turkey-related issues. Significant perceptual differences emerged across religious and ethnic demographic segments.
