Ma Kore online, an internet platform hosting weekly livestreams on issues important to Israel, devoted its 20 December episode to “the Arab sector”.
Ma Kore’s guest was Manar Bsoul, a member of Hadash and coordinator of the School of Solidarity project run by Dor Moriah NGO and the Mossawa advocacy centre.
Manar comes from Nazareth, has a bachelor’s degree in psychology, studied in Russia and speaks excellent Russian.
The broadcast discussed:
- relations between Muslim and Christian Arabs;
- the Arab sector’s attitude towards the State of Israel and its policies;
- Arab citizens’ attitude towards Jewish democracy;
- what life is like for an Arab woman in Israel;
- what Russians and Arabs have in common.
This lively and enjoyable conversation confirmed a simple point: “When people approach one another with interest rather than hatred, cooperation and solidarity emerge.”
