Biography

Alexey Viktorovich Vilents was born in Moscow in 1970. From 2017 to 2021, he served as an arbitrator at the Helsinki International Commercial Arbitration Court. 
In Israel, he is recognized by the Tel Aviv-Jaffa District Court as an expert on a broad range of matters concerning Russian law, judicial and law enforcement systems, and the political structure of the Russian Federation.

n 2017, he won the municipal elections in Moscow’s Cheremushki district as an opposition candidate. He served as Deputy Chairman of the municipality and was a member of the Urban Planning Commission for Moscow’s South-Western Administrative District. His deputy term concluded in 2022.

From 2018 to 2019, he served as Chairman of the Presidium of the Association of Independent Deputies (Moscow), remaining a presidium member until 2021.

He held a leadership position in the electoral campaign headquarters for a candidate running for the Moscow City Duma in 2019.

From 2018 to 2020, he served as Executive Director of the Moscow branch of the “Party of Changes” (Civic Initiative).
